One beautiful Brooklyn day in May, Nora Shepley was born. When she was five her family, which included 3 brothers and 1 sister, moved to Yonkers. And it was in there in New York City that she found her artistic ability at the tender age of eight years old - doing water color painting. Her parents were so impressed with her paintings they decided to enroll her in art classes. When Nora became twenty four she moved to Northern New York State seeking to paint the beauty of nature that she found there. So taken was she, that she purchased a house with one hundred and fifty acres where she had the perfect atmosphere in which to devote full time to her love of painting. I've had a look at your work on FAA, and I really like your "Picasso" series -- they're really good -- I'm a big fan of Picasso and his contemporaries -- we had a cubist painting by Matzinger (contemporary of Leger) hanging in our home for years, and I Love all the European painters of this period-- and whereas a lot of people could think they are painting in Picasso's style,they wouldn't be because they don't really get it -- but you do and it's just fantastic. I have a lot of abstract work up on my FAA site, but one in particular I think you would like "Reflecting on Miro and Dali" -- check it out. Ken L
